Also, here’s a wee bonus - the preliminary sketch for this strip! I rarely keep these. Most of the strips start off either like this or just a few scribbled words on paper or on my phone. Then it goes on to pencils, then to inks, then to you!

I’ve experienced this. It’s crazy. The kind of people that would look at you funny if you so much as smiled at them or said “good day” are suddenly your best friends when you’re walking a puppy. It’s more than just a conversation starter, it’s like some kind of status symbol or proof of decency…
