It came from beneath the Loch

Did they hear her say “loch”? In the comic it seems be the case that animals can communicate with other animals, but not with humans. However, Lauren could be more than an animal - she could be a magical being!

Or perhaps they just heard the roar of a plesiosaur. What do you guys like to believe?

Also, check this out! Maybe Lauren’s not alone? There’s probably lots of these stories, but I don’t think any - Nessie included - have a cooler name than Ogopogo.

    Man, I never realised the similarity with Penn & Tellar! That’s weird. Although I’ve never actually seen Teller before as far as I’m aware.

    Magnus wasn’t based on anyone in particular but I think I had an image of a scandinavian fisherman or whaler in my head when I drew him. For Odbart I just wanted a European looking old man with epic facial hair.
