A few glasses of wine and some staring at my comic got me thinking about the point. That weird point. That weird point of hair nearly parallel with Meche’s ear. I’d forgotten - or perhaps not even realised - that it has evolved from a flick, or tuft, of hair… I think I spoke about this before. I think it interests me because it’s quite abstract… so abstract infact that I don’t think it’s something I would put on a newly-designed character. That strange little bit of design came from some place other than design.

*Actually, it’s Cabernet Sauvignon, but I like to alliterate.
