@Faye: Yeah. Since it’s an internet strip and has readers all over I like to keep things quite unspecific and universal, but these guys aren’t main characters so I don’t mind giving them more of the local flavour. And they’re not from Elwood’s area so it makes sense they should be a little different. Hopefully makes them interesting to others all over the globe too.

Yeah but it’s short, punchy and I think it suited him. Maybe it’s short for Maximilian? Or perhaps Maximino!

heh Devildriver’s singer’s dog’s called “Sir Baccus” and some other names… I don’t remember the rest
I think “Sir Barkus” would work much better haha
but yeh, Max does work heh
I still miss Lyle.. he is still alive, right?.. no doubt sponging off another household? lol

Yeah, Max is kinda like a generic sheepdog, and Hamish is cute, too
