This is actually Monday’s strip, today’s will be up later.

I spent a little longer on this strip than I normally do. I felt since it’s story-based instead of humorous, nice visuals were needed. I really want to experiment with backgrounds and locations in this story; both to make the story more interesting, and show that Meche really is somewhere we’ve never been before.

Elwood’s view is quite different from how we’ve seen it before, but that’s really just the amount of detail I’ve put it - which was hard to do in monotone, but it was needed to create the scene. Otherwise, the viaduct would stand out way too much.
