Squeegee - A Theme

I don’t know what kind of music, if any, Elwood is in to. I often feel he should have a genre of preference, but I don’t like dealing with such real world things in the comic (modern events, culture, etc). I think Elwood’s love of Star Wars was the only time I’ve really mixed worlds. If you deal with that kind of stuff too often, the comic gets stuck in a certain period, loses any timeless feel. I don’t want to use Elwood to (so directly) commentate society, modern goings on, etc. Better that Elwood & the gang live in some other world where everything’s quite universal.

Beer + me = overblown seriousness.

Getting back to Elwood’s taste in music. It doesn’t really matter here. Elwood probably likes the idea of being a ’rockstar’ more than the music. Not sure exactly who inspired his look here, but there’s definitely some Hendrix in the mix. Maybe you guys can help me out - is there anyone famous who’d be on stage with a toothpick, or have I just made that up?
